Researchers at Chapman University recently surveyed over 12,000 people. They found a correlation between positive body image and overall happiness. Not just for women, both men and women feel more satisfied with their lives as a whole when they are satisfied with their bodies. Only 20% of surveyed people felt satisfied with their bodies, the 80% that didn’t feel satisfied about their bodies also had lower self-esteem and felt less satisfied in the bedroom. The issue isn’t having the perfect body, but it’s learning to love the body you have. Embracing your body will make you more friendly, adventurous, and less anxious.
