Sitting all day is hard on your hips, your shoulders, and your back. It encourages bad posture, and doesn’t engage any muscles. Swapping out your chair for a stability ball forces you to engage your core, sit up straight, and helps with balance. It might seem silly, but one of these balls could really help you out. It can cause a little stress on your lumbar if you sit all day. Experts believe that the best method is to alternate between a regular chair and a stability ball. But most importantly, get up and walk around every so often. Take your break time to stretch, walk around, and give your lower back a break.
