More Than Rice & Quinoa- 3 Life Changing Grains
Farro is crunchy and a little bit nutty. It is a heartier grain than quinoa. If you find quinoa to be a little mushy, try farro instead. You can buy it semi-pearled, which will cook much quicker. Cook some up and rinse it to cool. Add it to your green salad. Or sub it for your rice with mushrooms, brussel sprouts, and butternut squash (pictured). Mix berries and yogurt with cooked farro for a delicious and healthy breakfast. It’s high in fiber and protein.
