How to Drink Wine and Not Gain Weight

Even though you don’t get a summer vacation anymore, summer still means a little more relaxing. Relaxing with a glass of wine just feels right. But alcohol is high in sugar and calories, so you might be hesitant to drinking it. If you want to imbibe with a glass, or two, you just need to know what you’re drinking. Buy wine that has a lower ABV, less than 12, for fewer calories. Europe has more specific laws on wine, so there aren’t any additives. Buying wine from France is a good bet. Also, drier and lighter wines will have fewer calories. If you want a red, choose dry and lighter bodied reds. If you’re drinking sparkling, make sure there is no sugar added. Drink up!
